What our valued clients have to say about us

Dr Woerner to the rescue! My 6 year old dog became obsessed with licking his tail. After trying many things, we finally decided to amputate it. I was very sad to be doing this but we really exhausted alternatives. Dr Woerner made sure the tail was going to fit my guy’s personality and it does! It’s really cute when he wiggles it. It’s still growing hair back but it worked. He’s longer licking until it bleeds and gets infected.

The care we’ve received at Tally Oaks (this incident and several others) has always been fantastic. She’s reasonable and also no guilt when you decide not to do something “optional.” I tell everyone I have the best vet.

I can’t say enough about Tally Oaks ; We have a variety of different animals and use a couple different vets to best suit their needs. Dr. Tania Woerner has always been extremely responsive in emergency situations and she happens to be our go-to barn cat vet (you know how those barn cats can get into fights!). Anytime they need attention it’s pretty urgent and there hasn’t been a single time that she’s made us wait. I’ve already started taking my GSP in to see her, and plan to transition our other dog there as well. By the way, her new assistant is just fantastic and the two of them make such a delightful team! Thanks for all that you do.

Dr Woerner has been my vet for my cat and horse for many years. Her knowledge and creative ideas have kept my senior kitty around much longer despite his ckd and dental issues.

I was looking for a vet clinic that was small enough to know you by name and not just a number. Dr. Woerner is awesome. My dog, Keira, went in for a small eye surgery and the vet and her tech, Tessa, felt her stomach was quite extended. They did an ultrasound right then and found 10 bladder stones. She didn’t push me into doing surgery right away and tried other methods to get the stones to pass. It didn’t work, so surgery was required. It went smooth and my girl was back to herself in no time. She’s now going through other issues that Dr. W. is working very hard to help her. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Tania has seen my family through three generations of cats and has always been considerate and kind. She isn’t dismissive of concerns over small details of my older cat’s health like some vets can be. Her exam room is always comfortable for humans and felines alike and I greatly appreciate the care she has carried out.

Dr. Woerner is a graduate of U Penn Vet School rated by many as no 1. She has 20yr experience and has a well-organized practice with good facilities My dog Rex, 86 lb German Shepherd, has been well taken care of for 3yrs, even though he is “sprited” and headstrong at times.

Our Jazzy dog needed dental surgery to have some teeth pulled. I took her to TOV yesterday morning and Dr. W. recommended that I stay with her while she was going under anesthesia. You would have thought you were in a day spa. They played soft music, turned the lights low, had a calming aroma in the air and bundled her in snuggly blankets while she drifted off. All of this helped our very nervous pup to relax. I really appreciate the extra TLC. She is doing fine today. Thank you.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Woerner! She truly cares about your pet as if it were her own. She has stayed late to be sure my dog received treatment when he needed it most. I love her holistic approach and truly believe that because of her guidance and care, my dog will live a longer, healthier life.

LOVE LOVE Dr. Woener! So glad we have found our forever veterinary. Our poor pup was suffering the worst skin allergy & after ONE appointment within two weeks he was basically 100% again. He was acting relieved and happy again, that meant the world to us. Dr. Woener has a wonderful approach and Tally Oaks doesn’t have that scary vibe that most vet places give off to our pets. I appreciate having a doctor that is honest and not condescending, I recommend everyone and anyone to Tally Oaks. This place is one of a kind.

A truly compassionate experience! We are SO glad we found Dr. Woerner at Tally Oaks, who treats both our cats and pups! Her bedside manner, knowledge and options for treatment are top notch and I never feel pressured to select a treatment, she works with us through each situation. For instance, when our pup Kiara over-played and got a muscular injury in her shoulder, Dr. Woerner worked gently through her pain, her fearfulness of strangers and helped us decide on laser therapy treatments with acupuncture instead of just pumping drugs into her and hoping for the best. Kiara is a very fearful dog and it was wonderful to be able to just sit on the floor with Dr. Woerner while she did Kiara’s treatments and have Kiara just relax and enjoy the appointment. She REALLY loved the combination of the laser and acupuncture and I’m SO thrilled that I was presented with ALL my options, not just shots to wait/see if that worked which would further traumatize my pup. With each passing treatment Kiara was more and more ready to just walk right in the office and lay on the floor for her laser and she LOVED it. I cannot recommend Tally Oaks/Dr. Woerner enough, I feel like she hears our concerns, does thorough exams and treatments and isn’t just after our money but is really and truly trying to find the best way to relieve an animal of their pain and help them feel better. It’s reassuring to know when I call her that she a) actually knows who I am, b) knows which pet I’m talking to her about and c) is genuinely interested in making sure we get to the bottom of whatever their issues are and in the case of Kiara with this shoulder injury ~ she was incredibly honest about the difficulty of really pinpointing muscular injuries but how each and every treatment could impact/progress the healing process. That meant the world to me!

Jackson our two-year-old Golden Retriever was very sick when we came to see Dr. Woerner. She spent two hours on our initial visit going over his records thoroughly and starting a game plan on how to diagnose what was happening to Jackson. He was very thin, lethargic and anxious despite eating large amounts of food. She ultimately diagnosed dysbiosis of the small intestine. With the aid of the antibiotic and the suggestion of raw Goats milk, Jack has improved, gained weight and back to his usual self! I like Dr. Woerner’s holistic approach to treatment and her ability to listen to you! She was very easy to reach, called to check on Jackson and emailed as well.

Highly recommend Dr. Woerner and her team at Tally Oaks. She has gone above and beyond to get to the bottom of some very difficult cases, and her support, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile is unsurpassed.
